Shimano Europe Group is the umbrella for several sales offices, successfully selling, marketing and servicing high quality products for the European bicycle and fishing market. Its headquarter is located in Nunspeet, the Netherlands.

In order to strengthen our Sales Team we would like to get in contact with candidates for the position of:

(JR.) INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

The job
You realise sales targets and you build and maintain a relation network with all players (distributors, retail, OEM) in the responsible sales area . Furthermore you develop sales plans of current products and you collect relevant market information. Through this process you are able to identify trends and collect market information to support new product developments. Together with your customers you expand sales activities in your sales area. Finally you introduce new products and support customers where ever needed. You report to the Sr. Sales Manager.


Requirements
We expect candidates to have:

• Thinking and acting at Bachelor level, by education or working experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar job in an international B to B environment
• Affinity and/or knowledge of the bicycle market is essential
• Communicative skills in different cultures and a flexible and service minded attitude
• Excellent language skills in English, both verbally as in writing. Any other language skills are considered a plus.
• Basic skills on Word, Excel, and statistical analysis ability is required
• Open for regular travelling throughout Europe.

• You monitor customer satisfaction and exceed expectations with actions taken.
• You are eager to learn from others and you like taking on new challenges.
• You are able to convince your customers in a natural way, with the aim of gaining agreement with certain plans, ideas or products.
• You are able to filter all the available information and report or advise on the essential topics.
• You build and maintain a relation network which is essential for retrieving information but also for influencing sales to customers.
• You detect developments within your own professional field and check whether they are useful within the organisation.
