Vuelta a Espana 2007, a list to be proud of:

14 out of the 21 stages were won by riders, using a full Shimano Dura-Ace group
12 stages were won by riders using Shimano Dura-Ace wheels
5 stages were won by riders using Shimano shoes
6 stages were won by riders using a PRO handlebar, stem and seatpost
1 time trial was won by a rider using the PRO time trial handlebar and wheels

Last but not least, the overall classification was won by Russia’s Denis Menchov (Team Rabobank) who is riding a full Shimano Dura-Ace groupset, Shimano wheels, Shimano shoes and PRO handlebar, stem and seatpost. Menchov won not only the “golden jersey” but also the mountain and “combinations” classifications. He held the overall lead in the race from stage nine to the finish in Madrid, yesterday.

Not much time to look back, though. All eyes are focused now on the World’s in Stuttgart. We wish all riders a lot of success and look forward to some exciting races.
